ive told a person in one of my dreams that “this is a dream , it will be over soon“ .
a part of me feels like they aren’t supposed to know you arent apart of that world .
Questions :
is it bad to say that to them ?
are they already aware that you aren’t from their world ?
what happens when they become aware that you’re not from there (if they didn’t already know)?
how deep can you be involved with the dream characters ?
can they control me ?
I have told dream characters that it was a dream before. The reactions: 1 was did not believe me, 1 did not care and the rest pretended to be people from real life in a dream with me(I have shared dreams with 2 people once).
Hello there, and welcome to the forum!
I posted the following link as a reply to someone else yesterday, and I'm going to cross-post it to here, as it's relevant to your question as well. If you haven't watched this video by Daniel Love yet, I think you'll find it very useful, as it touches on dream characters knowing that you're dreaming, etc.:
[Video] How to Lucid Dream Like a Freaking NINJA!
When it comes to questions 2-5, I'm definitely no expert, neither on dream characters nor on psychology -- so please keep that in mind. With that said, I think it's definitely worth keeping in mind that your dreams are created entirely by your own brain. Also, if you've watched some of the videos on the Lucid Dream Tonight channel, you may have heard Daniel Love say that your entire dream world is you.
If you're a member of Lucid Dream Tonight on YouTube, here's another video you may find interesting and useful:

I hope that helps a little -- in any case, I'd highly recommend you keep watching Lucid Dream Tonight!
