Any tips on controlling the actions of dream characters?

I really like the Jedi Mind Trick and will often do it with just thinking, like telepathy - everything is already within your mind anyway. You can also just ask DC's to help you. I used that the previous night on my SpaceX inspired launch (partial success, but asking for help from DC's worked very well).
