I've asked the folks at Enchanted Wave if they'd mind if I shared a bit of info about "the device" that Daniel has mentioned in a few of his videos and live streams and they've graciously agreed!
There's been 3 test groups so far for the device and I'm in group 3. I just received my device the other day - the device is an EEG headband, as you can see in the video below and on their site. The headband along with their data processing allows for very accurate determination of REM and your sleep cycle in general. Pair this with a (currently) iOS app, and you can use this information to become a useful tool for lucid dreaming explorers like us! The app is a work in progress and they are very receptive to new ideas from the testers, and are currently working hard on new features and improvements with every new version of the app. As seen in the video on their site below, there's a selectable audio cue for when REM is detected, a dynamic volume feature to determine the optimal volume to play the cues, a WBTB alarm as well as some of the popular techniques, like a guided SSILD (that I'm going to try tonight). There's other features as well, but this should give you a good idea of where it's headed.
My quick "after unboxing" video:
Link to their site - check out the page then click the "Dreamy Cue" Project link at the top for a video about all the current features (as of a few weeks ago - there've been additions!):

You can also search the r/LucidDreaming/ reddit group for "enchanted" to see a few posts with some more info from months back.
Very exciting stuff!
Sooo whats your opinion on this device? works every time?
