Do you have what it takes to be a lucid dreamer?
This easy lucid dreaming test will challenge your skills of mindfulness, observation, and focus to establish if you are cut out to be a lucid dreamer.
Lucid dreaming isn't easy, and there are basic skills that are required in order to succeed. This test is designed to act in three ways:
- To test if you have the required skills to induce a Wake Initiated Lucid Dream (WILD)
- To act as a daily mental exercise to improve your ability to meditate, focus, and induce Wake Initiated Lucid Dreams (WILDs).
- To be used as its own lucid dreaming technique after using the Wake Back To Bed (WBTB) lucid dreaming technique, when you intend to fall asleep consciously and induce a Wake Initiated Lucid Dream (WILD).
Most people will fail this test. Remember even a 90% pass is still a fail - there is no such thing as 90% lucid!
If you fail the lucid dreaming test the first time, keep trying (it's a great mental exercise) until you can regularly keep your focus throughout the video. I will take the role of your subconscious mind, the "voice in your head", and attempt to distract you from remaining focused. This is exactly the kind of thing you should expect when attempting the WILD technique, as the mind always seems keen to distract you from your goal.
