Hello dreamers! I am a developer by trade, and I could not help but notice a need for proper REM Tracking software. How about we, for starters, start collecting data on our community's sleep cycles (specifically REM start and end times) With enough data, I can develop a personalizable REM tracker to help you get lucid and time WBTB attempts. Of course, it will be fully compliant with GDPR and other data-privacy legislature.

Hey! I'm currently trying to map my sleep cycle collecting data when I naturally wake up during the night, filling a table that I made. I can upload it there for anyone that is interested.😄
Remember that this is a strong empirical method to collect data based on your feelings or sensations, so don't take whatever you get as scientifically correct.
It is easily printable in A4 paper.
Regarding the data I collected this month, I noticed an interesting point: when I wake up during the night (let's say I'm awake for about 10-30 minutes), my last REM periode before I get up in the morining (after 7.5-8 hours of sleep) is shifted 30 minutes earlier than usual. This could probably be a coincidence but I'll go deeper into it. Has anyone experienced something similar?
@Dapp Jump I'd like to collaborate in data collection for the software, I'll send you an email!
Sounds great, I'm in for any data collection :)
Hey @Dapp Jump the device I'm looking at could send data to a phone via a BLE link. At the moment I'm just concentrating on the hardware and software that you wear (headband), and I'm not an Android / IOS developer, but maybe that's something that could come eventually?

Great Idea! I'm now looking for a way to specify the data to collect during the night. It's becoming kind of scrambled, blending with my dream journal full of half readable night notes. A format would come in handy, apart form my dream journal, and save the journal for my dreams. When I started with the tracker I already was interpreting things and was problem solving with times etc, during the night. It should come to a stage where in the night is just blindly collecting and focus can be on the methods and techniques for WBTB and WILD. Then, interpreting and ordering the data during the day
