I have had lucid dreams about 11 times in 3 months, but that was probably in 2017 and now, I’d like to get back into this subject as I have certain things I’d like to accomplish.
How can I train my skill of visualization and are there any WILD techniques that don‘t require it?
i have found that trying out DEILD has gotten me to experience weird sensations, and I see this as a sign that this technique could be for me. Any tips on actually getting to manipulate hypnagogia and to transfer into the dream? Cause I find myself laying there for about 30 minutes until I just give up.
Someone in the chat mentioned about increasing the vividness of visualisations by using all senses, which seems logical, but when I realised if I just imagined eating hard fruit gums, I would salivate and my jaw would 'itch', wanting to bit down hard on the gums which I've not eaten for many years. The other example was the sound and feel of fingernails dragging down a blackboard which made me wince just reading it, far more powerful visualisation than i ever thought i could conjure up.
So I'd recommend making your visualisations more complete and that should make them more realistic as it does for me. Just find something that illicits a strong response in your waking life.
Good luck!
first off try to get a WILD for longer maybe 15 mins more. the sensations they are probaly hypnagogia and that means that you are getting very close. as for the tychniques try the IMP tychnique (Imposable movment practice)where you imagine moving your body through your bed or in some way that is Imposable, another could be the dreamwalker tychnique
