So far as I'm aware, light emitted from a monitor reduces the quality of our sleep. Is it then reasonable to assume light emitted from a mobile phone s creen (with the blue light filter) would reduce the likelyhood of inducing a lucid dream? I've ordered Daniel's first book and plan to read that during WBTB awake period's, but I imagine the light from that might also cause problems.
What are your thoughts on this? Again, thanks in advance!
If it normally doesn’t stop you from falling asleep, I wouldn’t think it should matter…. Good luck!
I bought glasses that reduces the blue light. I am not sure if it helps but it could at least a bit and I feel better because even a tiny improvement count. I also used a function for reducing blue light on my monitor. And I set up a google home routine to switch the lights to sunset color 3 hours before I go to bed and the lights also dim a bit every hour.
From what I’ve read, the suggestion not to use a screen before bed is to help with falling asleep. If you don’t have issues with this, I believe it should be fine. You’ll see it in places where tips are listed to help with insomnia, etc.
